Trinity theory exam successes!

I am delighted to announce that 16 students passed their Trinity Guildhall Theory examination (last November 2013) with the excellent marks: 10 students have all passed with Distinction (88%-99%) and 4 students have passed with high Merit (80%-84%). Congratulations to Manuel Sackey who will bring home a trophy in the upcoming Trinity Festival for passing the Theory examination with Distinction for 3 consecutive years.

I have been teaching the Trinity Guildhall piano syllabus (Initial to Performance Certificate) for 10 years now, and I am very pleased with it. It suits my teaching style, and my students really like the range of repertoire, which suits all tastes. Relevant scales and arpeggios, and technical exercises to test aspects such as wrist flexibility, co-ordination, tone, balance and voicing complement the pieces very well.
